About The Company
Woodcraft Tree Services Ltd was set up by Brett in 2014 after working in the industry as a sole trader for several years previously. His love of the outdoors was the main driver behind starting the company, after feeling separated from the real world at his previous employment. The Arboriculture industry offers a lifetime of continual learning and aspects of Brett’s physics degree come in useful when engineering a complex solution for a challenging fell. The whole team are fascinated by the wonder and innovation of tree physiology and will happily talk about trees endlessly! The physical side of the job also ensures that no one in the company owns a gym membership.
Over the last 6 years the business has grown from strength to strength, developing a reputation for excellence. Over time four new employees have joined the team; Iain, Dom, Grace and Ross, who each bring their own individual skill sets. The company works closely with local award-winning business Alfresco Landscaping and regularly works with local schools, councils, charities and many prestigious private houses in Stamford and the surrounding area. It is very important to all of the team that we stay true to the company ethics of care and quality in every job we undertake. The advice we give will always be based upon the best way to achieve the wishes of the client whilst having the minimum impact on the long-term health and aesthetic of the tree. We are always happy to answer questions and explain the reasons behind our advice.
